Allegan: Bridge to bridge ride

Wednesday, August 2, 2017 - 8:00am

ALLEGAN—Two local Allegan cyclists will pedal 350 miles from Allegan’s Old Iron Bridge to the Mackinac Bridge to raise money for child victims of abuse and neglect.
The cyclists, Steve Angle and Ron Johnston, hope to raise money for Safe Harbor Children’s Advocacy Center in Allegan on what the agency calls “an incredible journey of hope.”
The riders will depart from Allegan on Wednesday, Aug. 2.
All proceeds from this annual “Bridge to Bridge” ride help provide awareness, support and hope to children in the community through the nonprofit’s services, according to Safe Harbor executive director Lori Antkoviak.
