Alma June Wedge, 83

Alma June Wedge, 83, peacefully passed early in the morning of April 2, 2014, while resting at the Wings Home in Allegan.
June was born on June 17, 1930, in Mount Pleasant, the youngest daughter of Oliver and Florence (Campaign) Michell.
June was a long time member of the Rebecca Lodge, Masonic Lodge and very active in the Lady Lions Club.
She is survived by her devoted husband Doran with whom she shared 64 years of her life as well as faithfully working together for many years in the family business, Wedge Oil and Gas.
Also surviving are her three children and their spouses, Vickie (Ted) Heckman, Ed (Vicki) Wedge and Doreen (Randy) Farmer; her nine grandchildren, Tod (Angie), Aimee and Kit (Melissa), Jesse (Mindi), Andy, Audrey, Janelle, Ashley and Arlen; 11 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
June was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Thelma Cochran; and her brother Joe Michell.
June was a loving wife, mother and a devoted friend. She was always ready to lend a hand or a shoulder to someone in need. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and family members both here and at their second home in Florida.
Per her request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be at a later date.
