Fennville uses long ball to complete sweep over Bloomingdale

BLOOMINGDALE—It’s too bad the Southwestern Athletic Conference doesn’t have a home run derby for its softball teams. Because if it did, three players from Fennville would more than likely be invited to participate.
Hailey Martin, Courtney Rector and Lindsay Cossey each hit homers—with Martin going for two—in the Blackhawks’ 13-2 and 16-5 doubleheader sweep over Bloomingdale on Thursday, April 24.
