Hamilton baseball falls to Byron Center

Leo Martonosi

Despite a spectacular diving catch in left field by Blake DeWitt to start the game, the Hawkeyes of Hamilton ended up dropping a 12-5 OK Green Conference home baseball verdict to Byron Center on Thursday, April 17.
“We gave them too many (unearned) runs,” said Hamilton coach Ken DeGood. “We had an inning there where we gave them seven outs instead of three. You might get away with four or five outs, but not seven.”
