Fennville district's audit, enrollment looking good
Auditor Jeffery Staley from Maner Costerisan Certified Public Accountants gave the Fennville district’s 2013-14 finances a favorable evaluation during his presentation to school board members Monday, Sept. 15.
Staley said, “The very hard work you have put into your budget has kept your fund balance very consistent since 2010.
“You have been doing a good job of maintaining your debt.
“Overall you have a very healthy fund balance and you have been good at keeping track of the various activity accounts. This is a very clean, well put-together budget for the third year in a row. A lot of hard work went into making sure all of the I’s are dotted and the T’s are crossed.”
Board president Loren Barnes thanked the board members for their hard work and dedication in making this an excellent budget audit.
