Prosecutor Kengis appointed to judge seat

Allegan County prosecutor Roberts Kengis has been chosen to fill the county’s empty circuit court seat.

Gov. Rick Snyder’s office announced Wednesday, Feb. 28, the governor had appointed Kengis to the seat, left vacant after Judge Kevin Cronin retired in January.

Kengis was elected prosecutor in 2016.
