Roll to the river for Allegan’s Bridgefest

This weekend, Allegan’s riverfront boardwalk springs to life with the inaugural “Rollin on the River” Friday night event with The Crane Wives band from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on June 8, followed by the return of Bridgefest on Saturday, June 9. It’ll be a full day of downtown celebrations and family-friendly entertainment.

“This is it—the kick-off to summer in downtown Allegan,” said promotions director Parker Johnson.


Schedule of events:

8 a.m.—Bridgefest 5K. Register here:

8 a.m.-12 p.m.—Iron Bridge Sports Bar fishing tournament

10 a.m.-6 p.m.—Art Mar-ket on Locust

10 a.m.-4 p.m.—Blessing of the Jeeps

11 am.-1 p.m.—Magic show at the gazebo.

12-10:30 p.m.—Beer gar-den on the Riverfront

12-6 p.m.—Petting zoo by the Iron Bridge

12-7 p.m.—Inflatables by the Iron Bridge.

12-2 p.m.—Guitar UP! Riverfront Stage

3-5 p.m.—Clearwater/Burza Project, Riverfront Stage

3-9 p.m.—Photo booth near the gazebo

6-7 p.m.—Brother Adams on the Riverfront Stage

8-10:15 p.m.—Mojo on the Riverfront Stage

10:15 p.m.—Fireworks on the river
