Wanda (Jarmuloski) Atman, 91
Wanda (Jarmuloski) Atman, 91, of Holland passed away, Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, at Appledorn Assisted Living Facility in Holland.
Born April 6, 1924, she was a daughter and one of nine children to John and Wanda Jarmuloski in Grand Rapids.
Wanda was always so proud of her mother who raised all nine children on her own after the passing of Wanda's father at an early age. Wanda and Gene raised their own four beloved children in Saugatuck where they owned and operated the Shangri-La Motel for many years before moving to Holland.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Gene Atman; son Robert Atman; daughter Nancy Atman; brother Bert; and sisters, Val White, Phyllis Kort, Helen Eaton, and Florence Rendell.
Surviving are her sons, Jim and Linda Atman and Bill and Kris Atman; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Ted, Chuck and Joe. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be Saturday, Nov. 21, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St, Holland.
