He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ethel Tuffelmire.
Friends and family remember Al's love of tractors, trips to the casino and working on the family farm. He was a generous and loyal husband, father and grandfather.
A memorial open house will be Saturday, Dec. 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Hartman Conference Center.
In his honor, the Allegan True Value Hardware store will close at 2 p.m. that afternoon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the charity of one's choice.
