Annagene Halstead, 87
Annagene Halstead, 87, of Holland went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, Nov. 28, at Resthaven Care Center in Holland.
Annagene was the daughter of Ted and Agnes Knoll. She was preceded in death by a brother Connie Knoll and a sister Edie Drooger.
Annagene was a member of Christ Memorial Church and an active volunteer in many ministries there. She also loved to knit mittens.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Hollis Halstead; children, Karen and Les Tucker of Graafschap, Nancy Snyder of Zeeland and Tim and Sherri Halstead of Hamilton; grandchildren, Robyn (Taiyoh) Afrik, Cody (Sarah) Tucker, Matt Snyder, Holly Snyder, Courtney Halstead and Trista (Mike) Kimber; great-grandchildren, Tabahn, Ayisha and Tai Afrik and Karly and Rylee Kimber; brothers and sisters, Jim and Liz Knoll of Reading and Marge and Paul Streur of Holland; and sisters-in-law, Wilma Halstead of Holland and Lil Knoll of Holland.
A memorial service will be Monday, Dec. 1, at 11 a.m. at Christ Memorial Church, 595 Graafschap Road, Holland. The Rev. Larry Izenbart will officiate. Burial will be at Graafschap Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland or Resthaven Care Center in Holland.
