Barbara Roxbury, 81

Barbara Roxbury, 81, of Hopkins passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at her home. Born July 1, 1937, in Holland, she was the daughter of the late Harry Raymond and Florence (VanderMeulen) Beekman and devoted wife of Thomas Lee Roxbury.

Barbara is survived by her husband Tom of over 50 years; her brother Harry Beekman Jr.; and siblings-in-law, James Roxbury, Daniel Roxbury, Joann Roxbury, Mary Jane Wright, Michael Roxbury, Sally Bauer, and Neal Patrick Roxbury.

Her spirit is carried on by her children, Robert Wright, Robin Lyles, Kolleen Livingston and Thomas (Ryan) Roxbury; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Terry Roxbury and Dennis Roxbury.

A visitation will be Saturday, June 1, from 10 a.m. until Noon at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. A private burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross.
