Bernadine E. Livingston, 90
Bernadine E. Livingston, 90, of Richmond, Ill., lived a long and dynamic life. She passed away Nov. 5, 2017.
Her actions were rooted in service to others, privately and publicly, and she loved Christ and God’s creation fully.
She raised four children and loved the children and grandchildren of her second and third husbands.
She is an icon among her great-grandchildren of longevity and strength.
Professionally, Bernadine created a large and successful inner city pre-school before she began her degree in education and then enjoyed a long and successful career in elementary education.
She is survived by her husband Louis Krueger; daughters, Lois Collins of Phoenix, Ariz., Luann (Tom) Spraker of New River, Ariz., Elise (George Zimmermann) Livingston of Richmond, Ill.; son Luther (Estella) Livingston Jr. of Allegan; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Luther Livingston and Charles Stubbs; and a brother Eugene Trainer.
Memorial services will be Sunday, Nov. 12, at 12 p.m. at Community Church of Richmond, 5714 Broadway, Richmond, Ill. Interment will be in Sheep of the Good Shepherd Cemetery in Allegan County.
She will be remembered with love and gratitude.
