Constance E. Tenwalde, 74

Constance E. Tenwalde, 74, of Grand Junction passed away at her home on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015.
Constance was born April 18, 1941, in Hastings, the daughter of Donald and Phyllis McDonald and had lived in the area the past 37 years.  
She had been a bus driver for Head Start beginning in the mid 1970s, later driving for Bloomingdale Public Schools until her retirement after many years of dedicated service.  She was an animal lover, bingo player and loved watching her bird feeders. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  
Surviving is her husband of 57 years Ronald; five children, Dirk (Robin) of Allegan, Rhonda Tenwalde of Grand Junction, Sandra (Larry Jr.) Stamper of Grand Junction, David (Carol) of Grand Junction and Scott II (Laura) of Allegan; many grandchildren great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dianna Lewis, Trudy (Terry) Wendt and Nancy VanderVelde; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Scott Anthony; two grandchildren, Cody Lemon and Jimmy Simmons; a great-grandson J.T. II; two brothers, Jake and Duke VanderVelde; a nephew Eric; and two nieces, Jackie and Angie
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 17,  from 11 a.m. until funeral services at 1 p.m. at the Bloomingdale Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home, www.dlmillerfuneralhome.com. Pastor Don Miller will officiate.  Interment will follow at Pearson Hill Cemetery.
