Jeremy Lee Tien, 19

Jeremy Lee Tien, 19, of Jackson, passed away in a car/deer accident on Thursday Oct. 2, 2014. He was born Sept. 13, 1995, in Plainwell  to Jason and Jennifer Tien.
He spent his elementary years in Allegan, where he enjoyed playing soccer, fishing and hunting. He then moved to Crestview, Fla., for his teenage years and deeply missed Michigan while away, he moved back in his sophmore year of High School.
Jeremy graduated from Western Options High School this past June. He finished the coursework in November 2013 and was so proud of himself for receiving his school credits early.
Surviving are his parents, Jason and Jennifer Tien of Crestview, Fla.; a special friend Hayley Hancock of Jackson; grandparents, Randall and Judith Cooley of Jackson, Gary Tien of Portage and Paula and David Wycoff of Plainwell; great-grandparents, Margaret Cooley, Mary Wehr and Mae Fowler; aunts and uncles, Scott and Carrie Puckett, Katherine and Casey Findell and Betsey and Robert Michalak; and cousins, Dexter, Bryce and Shelby Michalak.
Preceding him in death were his great-grandparents Dan and Ann McBride, John Tien and Bill Wehr; and also his great uncle Danny McBride.
He was loved and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be Saturday, Oct. 11, at 1 p.m., at Faith Ministries, 206 Russell St., Allegan, MI 49010, with Pastor Bob Hatfield officiating. A candlelight vigil will be Saturday evening at 7 p.m. at 4921 Ackerson Lake Road, Jackson, MI 49201.
