Plainwell High School recognized on list of America's most challenging schools

Plainwell High School has been selected as one of the Washington Post’s America’s Most Challenging High Schools for 2014.

Plainwell was ranked 26th in the state of Michigan and 1,449th in the nation.
The Washington Post ranks high schools by taking the total number of advanced placement, international baccalaureate and advanced international certificate of education tests given each year and divides that by the number of graduating seniors.
Schools that had as many tests in 2013 as they did graduates, were placed on the national list.
The Post then ranked the schools in order of ratio, with the highest (21.91) this year achieved by the American Indian Public Charter in Oakland, Calif.
