Hopkins: 4-H dinner/auction
HOPKINS—Allegan County 4-H is hosting a home-cooked pulled pork dinner for its ninth annual fundraiser on Saturday, March 11, at Hopkins High School.
Doors open at 3 p.m. with several silent auctions beginning at 3:30 p.m. There will be more than 150 items on the auction block.
The Live Auction begins at 6 p.m. of “Club Baskets,” themed of items collected, purchased or made and donated by local 4-H clubs. Past baskets have had themes such as “Movie Night,” “Pamper the Mamas” and “Golfer’s Paradise.”
The proceeds of the entire evening benefit the 4-H clubs participating in the auction and the Allegan County 4-H Youth Council, to support 4-H programming and provide scholarships to various educational experiences.
On the Allegan County 4-H Auction Facebook page, there will be information posted on some of the auction items to be available March 11.
