Indian girls’ track dominates regionals

That one word pretty much sums up the performance of the Saugatuck girls’ track team in the 3,200-meter run at a Division 4 regional on Friday, May 16.
Led by a winning time of 11:58.15 by freshman Piper Harris, the Indians secured the top three spots and five of the top seven spots in the 3,200 to garner 29 points in the events.
And the Indians’ strong showings didn’t end with the 3,200 as they finished with 165.5 points to cruise past White Cloud (107) and Muskegon Western Michi­gan Christian (92) for the regional championship.
