Saugatuck/Douglas: July 4 celebration

Saugatuck/Douglas—Saugatuck and Douglas will celebrate Independence Day on Tuesday, July 4, with a Rotary food tent in the Butler Pantry parking lot, 439 Butler St., from noon until 4 p.m. or when food runs out. Volunteers will serve traditional brats, hot dogs, cookies and more.

The parade starts lining up at 1 p.m. in front of Saugatuck High School and begins at 2 p.m. going through downtown Saugatuck. This year’s theme is “Honoring Our First Responders.”

The annual Rotary Fireworks will be shot over Lake Kalamazoo starting roughly at 9:45 p.m.
