Wayland: CJ Jones at WUFAC
WAYLAND—Internationally known deaf actor/comedian, CJ Jones, will perform at the Wayland Union Fine Arts Center on Thursday, Oct. 19, at 7 p.m.
Jones starred in this summer’s “Baby Driver,” in which he played Joseph, the father of the main character. He is the first black deaf actor in a major movie.
His show will include an interpreter and was brought to the district by the high school’s American Sign Language teacher, Sarah Rollandini, who funded the event through a grant from the Wayland Union Education Foundation.
Tickets may be purchased online from the fine arts center’s webpage at www.waylandunion.org. The center is at 870 E. Superior St.
