You decide in our 2019 Best of the Best voting

Ryan Lewis, Editor

It’s time for our annual Best of the Best voting!

Our readers get to celebrate their favorites—their favorite local festival, auto supply store, favorite hair salon, favorite place to get their coffee, their favorite pizza place, favorite photographer.

Check out the list of nearly 100 favorites to possibly cast a vote for—it’s fun! The list is on Page B8.

You don’t have to have a favorite in every category, but you do need to fill in at least half of the categories.

Fill out as much as you can and pop it in the mail to us—the address is right there at the bottom of that page.

There are four main groupings of categories: Auto, Restaurants & Food, Services & Retail, and Favorite People.

Within that last category, there are 24 ways to give a little credit to individuals who stand out in our community. Everyone has a favorite coach! How about your favorite local doctor or real estate agent?

Services & Retail gives you 41 ways to throw a little love toward the many local businesses that make your life better. Think back on the last 12 months and make sure you fill in what you think is the Best New Business. Everything else is under this category, too, from the best campground to the best hair salon to the best church to the best photographer.

Restaurants & Food has 19 ways to give a thumbs-up to your favorite watering hole—from best fish fry to best burger as well as best tavern or bar. There was some stiff competition for these titles last year. Help your favorite place win!

Finally, Auto has nine categories, everything from the best place to buy a used car to best body shop to the best tire shop.

It’s all there in our Best of the Best 2019. Get your entries in the mail by Aug. 1. We’ll announce all the winners next month.
